The differences between HDD and SSD for laptops

In many laptops and computers there is a standard HDD, a hard drive. This type of storage disk is very cheap in relation to the storage capacity. A hard disk uses a storage plate with a magnetic head that can read and change data. This is a mechanical process, making a hard disk less reliable than an SSD. An SSD is a storage type that uses storage chips instead of a rotating disk. This makes an SSD more reliable than an HDD. Also, an SSD is up to 10 times faster than a hard drive, giving your computer a huge boost. Finally, there is also an SSHD: this is a combination of a hard drive and an SSD. Data that is often retrieved is then stored on the storage chip, and other data is stored on the hard disk.
