NovaCustom

Oké, hier komt het hele verhaal. Ik had bij een ander bedrijf (PCSpecialist) een schootrekenaar besteld: de NJ70CU, 17 inch scherm, met de elfde generatie Intel Core i7 verwerker, 16 GiB werkgeheugen, 512 GiB SSD schijf en 2 TB gewone harde schijf. Ik had alleen niet goed opgelet op het toetsenbord. PCSpecialist is een Brits bedrijf - en in Groot-Brittannië gebruiken zij een beetje een andere toetsenbordindeling. De linker Shift-toets was ontzettend klein, omdat vlak daarnaast de \ - toets zat. Dat vond ik ontzettend onhandig met typen. Vaak als ik een hoofdletter wilde typen, drukte ik in plaats daarvan op de \ - toets. Ik stuurde toen een berichtje naar PCSpecialist met de vraag of het mogelijk is om het toetsenbord van die schootrekenaar te wijzigen. Ik kreeg een bericht terug met: "Nee, dat is helaas niet mogelijk!" Wetende dat NovaCustom precies ditzelfde model verkocht (NJ70CU schootrekenaar), stuurde ik naar NovaCustom een elektronisch bericht met de uitleg die hierboven staat - en de vraag of het technisch mogelijk is om bij dit model het toetsenbord te vervangen door een toetsenbord met een normale linker Shift-toets. "Jazeker!", werd er geantwoord. Ik kreeg een link waarop ik alle individuele onderdelen van de NJ70-serie schootrekenaar kon bestellen, inclusief toetsenborden. Mijn schootrekenaar had het ISO-toetsenbordindeling, en ik had dus de ANSI-indeling nodig om de normale linker Shift-toets te krijgen. Die bestelde ik toen. Vier dagen later was hij binnen. Via een Angelsaksisch instructiedocument, tevens te vinden op die onderdelenpagina van NovaCustom, schroefde ik mijn schootrekenaar open, haalde ik het ISO-toetsenbord eruit en stopte ik het ANSI-toetsenbord erin. Nu gaat het typen een stuk aangenamer! :-D Tja, wat kan ik zeggen? NovaCustom voldeed gewoon aan al mijn verwachtingen. Zonder NovaCustom had ik nog steeds dat toetsenbord gehad met die kleine Shift-toets. Dat is natuurlijk geen doen, dus ik ben heel dankbaar voor NovaCustom! :-D

Je cherchais depuis plusieurs années un ordinateur portable de bonne qualité sans OS dont je puisse maîtriser les composants principaux et les remplacer/échanger au besoin. J'ai découvert NovaCustom, j'hésitais entre deux modèles et avais plusieurs questions sur le matériel. Je les ai posées à Wessel qui est très réactif et m'a répondu très précisément, ce qui m'a permis de me décider rapidement. Je suis très content de mon NS51.

From the time I first found the laptop I eventually ordered I received clear answers to my questions on software and hardware. After purchase some issues developed with the service manual in relation to how to open the laptop for installation of an additional SSD and after a few emails I figured out how to do what I needed to do, they were nice and clear all the way. The only hiccup was the delivery; between my order and shipment there was an internal delay according to support which pushed the delivery date up somewhat. Overall my experience has been very good.

Meilleure options européenne pour ne pas avoir à payer de TVA pour du purism ou du system76, avec des prix très intéressants. Niveau hardware c'est très correct ( thunderbolt 4, recharge AC et usb-c, soc core i7 11th sous tiger lake avec wifi 6) Niveau rapport qualité/prix sur ce type de configuration avec en plus 2 To de nvme samsung et 64Go de ram sur un i7-1165G7 + le dock on est vers 1700€ ce qui est très très raisonnable ! ( essayez de trouver mieux chez les concurrents) Le fait également de refaire le BIOS de sa machine et de rendre plus difficile les "evil maid attack" pour le déchiffrement de son disque ou de l'implant EFI (via un bootkit) est un plus (même si certains blob sont encore utilisés notamment pour gérer un secure element sur la partie intel, mais la surface d'exposition reste plus restreinte que chez dell ou lenovo ) Bref je recommande !

L'ordinateur portable a été fidèle à nos attentes, mais nous avons eu un problème d'alimentation courant août. Nous avons changé le cordon mais l'ordinateur ne démarre plus. Depuis le 26 août, nous avons commencé à échanger sur WhatsApp pour régler ce problème (démontage de la batterie principale et CMOS, moi qui n'ai jamais démonté d'ordinateur !!), hélas sans succès. Mais depuis plus de nouvelles de NovaCustom, ni par WhatsApp (30 août), ni par email (31 août). La garantie de la batterie expirant le 14 août (1 an après l'achat), je me pose des questions.

Le concept est aussi simple qu'excellent ! L'équipe est très réactive ! La prestation est très bonne ! Service assez unique ! Bravo et maintenez cette qualité surtout !

I suddenly had to change my laptop after an upgrade that "broke" the linux graphics stack because of optimus (nvidia geforce card...) After a lot of searching, in vain, I found the website configurelaptop.eu and then its French version pcportablesurmesure.fr. I quickly found a machine that would suit me. I contacted Mr Wessel Klein Snakenborg, about the compatibility with my usual Gnu/Linux distribution; his answer was quick, clear and in a perfect French. I felt so confident that I placed an order with him and entrusted him with the installation of openSUSE Leap 15.4. I received the laptop quickly; the package was perfectly packed; the machine corresponds perfectly to my needs; the system is in conformity with my requests (partitioning and desktop environment). Hab mir einen Laptop NJ51 zusammengestellt und bin sehr sehr zufrieden damit. Ich habe den jetzt seit etwas über einem Jahr und er macht was es soll. Mir war wichtig, dass man ihn auch selbst öffnen kann, um kleinigkeiten selbst austauschen zu können (HDD, SSD, ...). Der Support war freundlich und habe immer schnell Antworten bekommen.

Sehr gut in der Handhabung, im Design und in der Geschwindigkeit.

Bin sehr zufrieden und schon weiterempfohlen :-)

Der Laptop ist sehr gut, auch der Service zu Anfang. Ich muss langsam mich noch mit LINUX Ubunto vertraut machen und bin guter Dinge :-) Bekannte Sachen aus WINDOWS kann ich schon mit Linux nutzen. Pièces remplaçables sur 5 ans , manuel de service exhaustif pour une pleine réparabilité, autonomie et souveraineté. J'ai choisi le Série NV40 14 pouces coreboot I7 avec la GTX 1650. Belle finissions , léger et silencieux. Du 1er échange avec le support pour répondre à mes questions concernant mon choix. À la configuration de la machine . Le service est impeccable courtois et généreux en explication claire et concise . Je recommande.

Precies samengesteld volgens de opgaven van mijn vriend, die hier de computerdeskundige is, inclusief partities. De levering van deze laptop met Linux èn Windows verliep ook snel en alles werkt!

Super mooie laptop met eigen bedrijfslogo gegraveerd bovenop. Tevens BIOS logo en eigen Super key met bedrijfslogo, omdat 't kan. Jammer dat de i7 niet leverbaar was, maar met een i5 gaat het ook prima.
